Educational Administration Abstracts includes bibliographic records covering essential areas related to educational administration, including educational leadership, educational management, educational research, and other areas of key relevance to the discipline.

ERIC, the Education Resource Information Center, contains more than 1,300,000 records and links to more than 317,000 full-text documents dating back to 1966. This interface to the database has the Find It!at WSU button, to find the full text, or request the item on Interlibrary Loan.

This interface to ERIC comes from the U.S. Government itself. This link to ERIC is available from free on the Internet, you do not have to be a current WSU patron to access it. If you click on the link called "Find in a Library," you will get the Find It! at WSU system if you are on campus.
- Physical Education Index
Coverage from 1970. These abstracts feature a wide variety of content, ranging from physical education curricula, to sports medicine, to dance. Other coverage includes sport law, kinesiology, motor learning, recreation, standardized fitness tests, sports equipment, business and marketing, coaching and training, sport sociology/psychology, and health education and physical therapy.

- Lexis-Nexis Legal Research
LexisNexis Academic Universe has a strong legal collection. From the home screen, click on the left hand icon that says "US Legal" or the one that says "International Legal." From there, one can select a specific database to search. U.S. collections include federal and state case law, federal and state statutes, law review articles, and Shepard's. International collections include cases and legislation from Canada, Europe, and other nations.
Other Databases Of Possible Interest
Westlaw Campus Research contains the full text of court opinions, statutes, and regulations from state and federal governments; in excess of 800 law reviews and journals; a legal encyclopedia, American Jurisprudence, and Black's Law Dictionary. Includes West's KeyCite feature for verification of the status of a case, statute, administrative decision, or regulation. Laws, regulations, reports, and related European Union material is also included.
- Academic Search Premier
Broad database with both Academic and general periodicals articles. Many fulltext, though some citation only. Provided by Electronic Library for Minnesota.
JSTOR allows Winona State full-text access to back issues over one hundred core scholarly journals, across a variety of disciplines. In the case of some journals, the run of back issues extends back to the 19th-Century. To prevent publishers from losing revenue, JSTOR uses what is called a "moving wall," which means it will always maintain a 2 to 5 year gap from its most recent holding to the present. It is possible to search JSTOR holdings, or to simply browse the journals by subject area.
