Paralegal Databases

Comprehensive, Full Text
  • Lexis-Nexis Legal Research
LexisNexis Academic Universe has a strong legal collection. From the home screen, click on the left hand icon that says "US Legal" or the one that says "International Legal." From there, one can select a specific database to search. U.S. collections include federal and state case law, federal and state statutes, law review articles, and Shepard's. International collections include cases and legislation from Canada, Europe, and other nations.
  • Westlaw
Educational edition available to students on campus. Limited number of simultaneous users.
  • Westlaw Pro
This database requires a username/password provided by your professor. If you do not have a username/password, contact your professor, or Vernon Leighton in the library (457-5148). If you are not a paralegal student, we suggest you use Westlaw Campus.
  • AltLaw Case Law
